Are Anti-Aging Medical consultations covered by my B.C. Medical Services Plan?

No, the consultations are not covered by the medical services plan. The patient is responsible for the cost of each consultation.

Will my medical plan pay for any of the tests ordered by Dr. Sperling?

No, like the consultations, any blood, urine or saliva tests ordered by Dr. Sperling are related to your anti-aging medical visits and are not covered under the B.C. Medical Services Plan protocols and therefore the patient is responsible for the cost of all the tests.

How do I get a prescription for Bio-Identical hormones?

Bio-Identical Hormones have to be prescribed by a licensed medical doctor.
Dr. Sperling prescribes the appropriate hormones based on a detailed evaluation of each patient. The exact concentration and dosing, individualized for each patient, is prescribed. The prescription can then be filled at a compounding pharmacy. Only pharmacists with specialty training in compounding of Bio-identical hormones are recommended. Some extended medical plans may cover the cost of your hormone prescription.

Can I see Dr. Sperling for my regular medical care?

No, Dr. Sperling only provides anti-aging medicine consultations. Dr. Sperling recommends that you have a family physician that you would see for all your medical problems and for health exams such as PAP tests, breast and prostate exams

What is the cost of a consultation?

The cost of the initial consultation is $325.00. The cost of a follow up consultation is $200.00. Payments can be made by cash, Visa, Mastercard or Debit Card.
