what to expect

Each patient’s Anti-Aging Medical consultation with Dr. Sperling is scheduled for 50 minutes. The cost of each consultation is $200.00. We ask that patients arrive on time for their appointment.

Prior to your first visit you will be asked to fill out a history and health questionnaire and bring it with you to your first appointment. This will be reviewed with Dr. Sperling during your first visit. You will also be asked to bring with you all the medications and supplements that you are currently taking.

During your first consultation your medical history, family history, current medical problems and medications and supplements will be reviewed. You will discuss in detail your symptoms and the problems that you are experiencing. Dr. Sperling will then recommend appropriate tests. Blood testing, salivary testing and urine testing are utilized, depending on the patient’s problems. Both local, Canadian and U.S. laboratories are utilized.

The first follow up visit is recommended within 2 to 4 weeks to discuss the results of the tests and to plan individualized health program for each patient. Bio-Identical hormones are prescribed and a diet and supplement program is reviewed.

The second follow up visit is recommended after being on your program for two to three months. At that time your symptoms and progress are reviewed and adjustments made to your program.

The third follow up visit is then scheduled after another 2 to 3 month, at which time it is recommended the client has further testing to assess hormone levels and to measure other parameters; once again symptoms are reviewed.

Further visits are then suggested every three to six month depending on the needs of each patient.
